Description
This type of construction, in addition to retaining the strength of the three strand ropes, produces ropes that are more flexible, non-kinking, and have exceptional grip on bitts and the drum ends of winches.
They can be readily spliced but the splicing technique is different to that of three strand hawser laid ropes.
